Siddaramaiah was sworn in as the 22nd Chief Minister of Karnataka after the Indian National Congress secured a majority in the 2023 Karnataka Legislative Assembly elections. This marked his second tenure as Chief Minister, having previously served from 2013 to 2018. His appointment was accompanied by D.K.
