The 6th Lok Samvardhan Parv was inaugurated in Dehradun, Uttarakhand, to promote traditional livelihoods and artisan entrepreneurship under the PM VIKAS scheme. This event represents a significant shift as it is the first time the festival has been organized in formal partnership with a state government. By bringing together over 150 artisans and food stall owners, the government aims to enhance the market visibility of indigenous handicrafts and handloom products. The festival serves as a platform for cultural exchange while providing a direct commercial boost to local women entrepreneurs.
