Indian Overseas Bank LBO Recruitment 2026 Educational Qualification
Candidates must have a Degree/Graduation in any discipline from a University recognized by the Government of India, or any equivalent qualification recognized by the Central Government. The candidate must possess a valid marksheet/degree certificate proving graduation status on the date of online registration and must enter the graduation percentage while applying.
Local Language Requirement
Candidates must be proficient in reading, writing, and speaking the local language of the State they apply for. Candidates who have not studied the specified local language in Class 10th or 12th will have to qualify the Language Proficiency Test (LPT) before the Personal Interview.

Indian Overseas Bank LBO Recruitment 2026 Salary
The post carries the Scale-I Officer pay scale of โน48,480 – โน85,920.
- In addition to Basic Pay, applicable DA, HRA, CCA, and other allowances/perquisites will be provided as per the Bank's rules.
- Selected candidates will remain on probation for 2 years of active service.
- A Financial Service Indemnity Bond of โน2 lakh is also required, for a minimum service period of 3 years.
Indian Overseas Bank LBO Recruitment 2026 Selection Process
The selection process will consist of:
- Online Examination
- Language Proficiency Test (LPT) (where applicable)
- Personal Interview
- Final Merit List
Candidates qualifying the Online Examination will be called for LPT wherever applicable, followed by the Personal Interview. Final selection is based on combined performance in the Online Examination and Personal Interview in an 80:20 weightage ratio.

The Online Examination has 140 objective-type questions for 200 marks, with a negative marking of 1/4th (0.25) of the marks assigned to each wrong answer.
