Conversion of Temperature:
Three different scales are used for estimating the temperature value and thiers named are given as:
- Kelvin (K) scale,
- Fahrenheit (F) scale, and
- Celsius (C) scale.
Specialized formulas are used for calculations and interconversions so that the required temperature unit is attained.
17°C (degree Celsius) is 62.6°F (degree Fahrenheit).
The Fahrenheit scale is a temperature scale used in the customary system, which sets the freezing point of water at 32°F and the boiling point at 212°F.
On the other hand, the Celsius scale, which is part of the SI system, sets the freezing point of water at 0°C and the boiling point at 100°C.
