Which canal is supply water more than two canal?
power canal
carrier canal
feeder canal
irrigation canal
feeder canal
A feeder canal is a canal that is designed to feed two or more off-taking canals or distributaries. It functions as a primary supply conduit, carrying a larger discharge volume to be diverted into smaller irrigation channels.

QfeederтАЛ=тИСQoffтИТtakingтАЛ тАФ Total discharge of a feeder canal is the sum of discharges of all canals it feeds.
In canal irrigation systems, water flows from a headwork (reservoir or barrage) into the main canal. When this main canal is tasked with supplying water to multiple smaller channels (distributaries or minor canals) located at different intervals, it is termed a feeder canal. Its primary objective is to maintain a sustained discharge and hydraulic head for the downstream network.
A feeder canal primarily acts as a 'supplier' to other canals rather than directly serving agricultural fields.
The discharge capacity of a feeder canal must account for total irrigation demand plus transmission losses.
They are critical in large-scale inter-basin water transfer projects.
Efficient water distribution over wide command areas
Centralized flow control for multiple irrigation branches
High maintenance cost due to large cross-section
Potential for significant seepage losses if unlined
Major irrigation projects
Inter-basin water transfer links
Carrier canals carry water for purposes other than irrigation, such as hydropower or domestic water supply.
Irrigation canals are generally distributaries that directly supply water to agricultural fields.
C is correct тАФ A feeder canal is defined by its function to supply water to two or more off-taking canals or irrigation systems.
Always distinguish between canals based on their function: 'feeder' is for feeding, 'carrier' is for conveyance, and 'distributary' is for direct field application.
