SBI Clerk Recruitment 2026 Educational Qualification
Candidates must have a Graduation Degree in any discipline from a recognized University or an equivalent qualification recognized by the Central Government.
- Candidates in their final year/semester of graduation can also apply provisionally, provided they produce proof of passing on or before 31 December 2026, if provisionally selected.
- Candidates with an Integrated Dual Degree (IDD) must ensure their date of passing is on or before 31 December 2026.

SBI Clerk Recruitment 2026 Salary
The Junior Associate pay scale is: โน24,050–1,340/3–28,070–1,650/3–33,020–2,000/4–41,020–2,340/7–57,400–4,400/1–61,800–2,680/1–64,480.
- Starting Basic Pay: โน26,730/- (including two advance increments admissible to graduates)
- Approximate Starting Emoluments at a Metro such as Mumbai: ~โน46,000/- per month, including applicable DA and other allowances.
SBI Clerk Recruitment 2026 Selection Process
The selection process consists of:
- Preliminary Examination
- Main Examination
- Local Language Proficiency Test (LLPT), wherever applicable
Preliminary Examination marks will not be considered for final merit — candidates are only shortlisted for the Main Examination based on Preliminary performance. Final merit will be prepared based on Main Examination marks, subject to eligibility verification and qualifying the local language test wherever applicable.
